Obituary of Lois Brown

, Lois E. Brown, known as Ma B, went to be with her husband, Roy. Lois was born January 2, 1923 in Catskill, NY. She worked for GE (actually working on the Sea Wolfe submarine) and later for Guilderland School, from which she retired in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Carpenter of Cumberland, KY; son, Roy Brown of Rosedale, IN; daughter, Wendy Brown of Esperance, NY; foster daughter, Cheryl Chilton of Schenectady, NY and Ted Henk of Scotia, NY, whom she considered a son. She is also survived by four grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. To her close friends and neighbors who have helped immeasurably over the years, she says Thank You for all you did. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her name to Hospice of the Wabash Valley, 400 Eighth Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47804. Calling hours will be Wednesday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, NY 12304. A graveside service will follow at Memory's Garden Cemetery, Colonie.
