Schenectady - Sondra LeBlanc, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Sondra was born in Binghamton, NY, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Violet Clarke. She moved to Schenectady as young woman working for the New York Telephone Company. Sondra worked for many years as an office manager for the Drug Enforcement Agency in Albany and was a longtime communicant of St. Luke's Catholic Church. She was an avid tennis player and loved the New York Yankees. Known by many as the kindest and gentlest person they have ever met. Sondra is survived by her sons, Michael LeBlanc and Eric LeBlanc; grandchildren, Clarke Reilly LeBlanc and Danielle LeBlanc; and great-grandson, Avery Allen. She was predeceased by brother, Benjamin Clarke Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 12 noon, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Schenectady. Calling hours will be Monday 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
