Bob was one of the nicest and easiest guys to get along with I have ever met. We worked many years together as trouble shooters for the phone company. I am proud to say I knew him. My heartfelt condolences go to his family. No matter how long one lives, parting is never easy. We just pick up the flag and march on. God bless.

Gerri and Guy, we are so saddened to hear of your loss. Bob was a wonderful man. We thank him for the many wonderful memories he afforded us as kids in the neighborhood. He spent countless hours working on that rink so the rest of us would have something fun to do in the cold. He was always a good friend to my Dad and we will miss our rides to Lake George to stop by the camp and say hello to him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

I knew Bob since 1947 after being hired at New York Telephone Co. My condolences to Bob’s family. Dear Lord, Let perpetual light shine upon Bob and may his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Look after Bob in your heavenly kingdom and Expand Bob’s dwelling place in your father’s house and we ask this in the name of your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one god, forever and ever. Amen. John Ericson.

Guy, I am sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Your Dad was so good to us kids. I remember him climbing trees to get us firewood for camping and taking us out to the island. He was always graciouis in allowing us to stay at your camp despite the fact that I would show up with only four slices of bologna and a jar of mustard. I still think of your Dad as one of those great people I was fortunate to meet in my teenage and young adult years. He will be missed. I hope you are your Mom are doing ok.

Mrs Middleton and Guy, I am so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He was a great man and really did a lot for us all in the old neighborhood. I have a lot of great memories of the skating rink. I am glad Bob got to spend his final days up in Lake George at the camp. That is about as close to Heaven as you can get in my opinion. Take care. Thinking about you. Mike Knaup
