Tori, John, Michael, Alivia, Ashley, Heather, Blake, Nicole, Dominick, and Regina (can I just call you Mrs. Baker forever?) I am honoroed to call every single one of you my second family. I have spent the past 5 years dating Dominick-but that is just a bonus compared to the memories I have with this family. I got the opportunity to be around eveyone during Mr.B's final days (I still can't bring myself to call him Steve) and I got to hear stories, see pictures, and watch videos of a side of Mr. B that I am sad to say I never got to meet. I learned about his love for Disney bathrooms and hot sauce, father-son bonding by installing a screen door in a hurricane, and even his wild side as a kid hearing about sneaking into the unblessed wine. All those things and more made me smile. However, it was the little things that I will always remember about him-and maybe one day tell my kids about their grandfather that they didn't get to meet. That he worked hard, not becasue he was told to, but because he wanted to. That he adored his brothers so much, they always could make him laugh. That his kids were his life, and you could tell by the smile that was brought to his face when he talked abut them. Or his grandkids-who had him wrapped about their little pinkies since day one. Or maybe the fact that his love for his wife was so beautiful, that as I write this, a tear comes to my eye thinking about their love and marriage. It showed how much of a good man he was by all the people in his life that he loved with every part of him. He may be gone now, but I know with this family that he will be a part of them every single day of their lives. They will celebrate his life and re-tell all the amazing stories I got to hear over the past few months. Thank you Baker family for treating me like I was part of the family-hugs, fights, tears, laughs, and everything else in between. I love you all. And to Mr.B-I do miss you a lot, but I promise to continure to be there for your family whenever they need me, and to that crazy son of yours, who I promise to love forever. I know you will watch over everyone and take care of them, just like you did when you were here.

Our hearts ache so much for all of you. Steve was a GREAT Gentle man... We met so many years ago when your first child was just a todler in East Greenbush and we have remained friends all these years. Steve was always the best at everything he did and working with Chris at NISKY was always a pleasure. He will be missed by so many that touched the soul of this caring and wonderful person! Words will never express how much his caring and consideration meant to all of us. Our Tears are for LOVE... Memories are for LIFE... But our LOVE is FOREVER! Peace be with you all...Love always, Dave, Cindy and Chris too!

Steve you were and still are a person to be looked up to. You will be missed by me and a long list of friends. I am glad I got to spend time with you before you were called home. I know what Rick wrote but he is the one that talked me into taking your car for a ride. He told me you wouldn't care! We love you.

Baker family, I'm so very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Steve was a big part of our daily work lives in the music department during his time at Niskayuna High School. There was no request to large to fill, no job too small to give his full attention. We'd share stories each day as he swept out my choir room and it was obvious how much he adored his family. Steve was always one of the first people to compliment the kids on the "great job" they had done at their concert performances. Just an all around wonderful human being. He's left me wonderful memories of NHS. You have every right to be so proud of his commitment to that school in helping make it the best that it could be. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

You will be missed. You were a great brother and great role model for your kids. There is no bigger compliment than being a great Dad and you surpassed that. I'm sorry David & I wrecked your dream car when you were in Vietnam. David drove, not me. Love you, Rick

Steve was such a delight to work with at Proctor's and a kind gentle man. Several years ago we did the Children's Movies together at the GE as well as the regular shows. After this he realized that Tony, my brother in law in a wheelchair, and my husband belonged to St Kateri and he frequently found them before or after a service to chat for a few minutes. Tony especially appreciated this. Steve has and will be missed by our family. Our prayers and sympathy go out to the entire family.

My thoughts are with the entire Baker clan. Mom Baker, you had an amazing husband who helped give you five great children! Tori, spending time at your house with your sisters and brothers causing typical teenage chaos was awesome!!! Especially when your dad tolerated us or even joined in being goofy!!! Hugs everyone!
