I remember her awesome smile and she always welcomed my family and I to her home! She gave me good advise over the phone many many times. Her faith in gods never wavered even when mine did! She helped me get back to god! You are missed Aunt Joan missed so very much

Aunt Joan was a remarkable woman. Always there to help family.... I remember when I had my first daughter Aunt Joan came to NJ to help as my mother could not. She and my cousin took over the care of my daughter so I could sleep and regain my energy. I woke up fresh and relaxed (Aunt Joan had a way with making you feel relaxed) and found she had used baby pins to fasten the pampers on my daughter! We all had a good laugh! Joan was always there for me either by phone or in person. She was my mother in more ways than she knew! I miss her everyday but know she is looking down on me and my daughters.

Dear Mary and Shelley, Your mother and I met in 7th grade and have been friends ever since, corresponding all these years. I am very sorry that I will be unable to attend her service as I am living in Southern NJ. I send my best to you both, and I am very sorry for your loss of a beloved mother.
