Francis "Frank" C. Busino, 88, passed from mortality to immortality with the Lord and his wife, Rowena, of 50 years on September 10, 2011. He was born in Schenectady, the son of Anthony and Angela Petrino Busino. Frank was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and Albany Business College. He served in the Pacific from 1942 to 1946 during World War II as a squad leader in the Army, 389th Infantry Regiment. Frank was a used car manager with Mohawk Chevy, later working for many years at Schenectady Chrysler Plymouth, where he was a used car manager and the Mazda car manager. After retirement he was a school crossing guard and a school bus driver. He was an avid Yankee fan, enjoyed Dixieland music, swimming, his family and home. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Rotterdam United Methodist Church. He appreciated the friendship and support of good friends, Kevin Carroll and Robin Seeley. He and the family appreciated the physicians, nurses and staff at Ellis Hospital ICU and Cardiology the last two weeks of life. He was predeceased by his wife, Rowena Busino; they married in 1957, and she died in 2007. Frank is survived by his children, Lawrence R. Busino, his wife, Shirley (Harry) and their children, Erica Busino and fiance, Joshua Raudebaugh, Seth and wife, Daeva, their children, Kade and Isabella, all of York, PA and Paula Miller, her partner, Donald Isaacson of Ballston Lake, her children, Craig Francis Miller and partner, Cory Rundell, Jeffrey R. Miller, his children, Jenna, Ian and Justin of Denver, CO; a brother, Anthony Everett Busino of Rotterdam; nephews, William Busino, M.D., Lawrence Busino, D.D.S. and John Busino. Predeceased by his brother, William Busino, M.D. and sister, Lillian Busino, RN. Funeral service Thursday afternoon 12:30 at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Army Emergency Relief, 200 Stowall St., Alexandria, VA 22332
