Obituary of Jane Foster

Schenectady - Jane S. Foster, 90 of Nott Terrace, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at home. Jane was born and educated in Syracuse, she was a graduate of Denison University. At onetime she worked with the Girl Scouts of the Mohawk Council, later working at Tough Traveler and had been a foster mother. She was a longtime active member of Emmanuel Baptist Friedens Church. She was predeceased by her husband John "Jack" Foster, he died in 1999. She was the mother of two children Jeffrey Foster of Burnt Hills and Judy Foster (deceased); three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 at the Emmanuel Baptist Friedens Church. There will be no calling hours.
