Obituary of Norman Cook

Schenectady - Norman Charles Cook, 62, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015. Norman was born in Gloversville, NY, the son of the late Damon and Molly (Bridger) Cook. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Norman has called Schenectady home most of his adult life. He was a real people person and loved caring for his three grandchildren. Norman enjoyed hunting and fishing and never missed an episode of American Idol. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara (Page) Cook, their three children, Jim Cook, Eric (Marina) Cook and Cathy Cook; grandchildren, Crystal Cook, Alyssa Cook and Charles Waring; brother, Jerry (Roxanne) Cook and sister, Vivian Cook, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
