Lucy F. Capra, 92, formerly of McClellan and Frank Streets, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at the Ellis Hospital Skilled Nursing. Mrs. Capra was born and educated in Schenectady. She had been a volunteer at St. Clare's Hospital and with the Election Board. Lucy had been a longtime communicant of St. Luke's Church. She will always be remembered for being a loving and devoted wife, mother and Nana. Lucy was married to Nicholas P. Capra, Sr. He died in 1986. She is survived by three children, Joseph (Maryllis) Capra, Sr., M. Sylvia Anapolis and Nicholas (Lark) Capra, Jr.; a sister and brother, Barbara Rossi and John Famiano; 12 grandchildren, Thomas (Darlene) Anapolis, Lori (John) Fraser, Michael (Tammy) Capra, John (Nancy) Capra, Joseph Capra, Jr., Melissa Kellogg, Kersten, Caitlin, Dinara, Diana, Diana and Maggie Capra; many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Florence Giaquinto and Rose Dagostino. Funeral service Monday morning at 8:15 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan Street, Schenectady and 9 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Sunday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
