Obituary of Penny Maier

Maier, Penny Schenectady - Penny Maier, 68, passed away Thursday May 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Penny was born in Ballston Spa, the daughter of the June Johnson and Robert Epting. She worked for many years as a nurses aid at the Ingersoll Memorial Home in Albany. She is survived by her husband Francis Maier, children: Ambrose Jones, June (Jones) Askew, Matthew Jones, Melody Gaito, Justin Rivenburg and Connie Maier, siblings Patricia Gannon and Thomas Epting, many grandchildren and great -grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Peggy Lowery and Robert Epting. The funeral service will be Monday 12:00 noon at Daly Funeral Home 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Vale Cemetery.
