Obituary of Donald Fredrick

Donald F. Fredrick, 95 of Pattersonville, N. Y. passed away on May 28, 2015 at his farm in Pattersonville. Born in Schenectady N.Y., July 25, 1919. He was an Army veteran serving in World War II. Donald received a B.A. from St. Michaels College and founded D.F. Frederick Company. He served as president of D.F. Frederick Company until his retirement. He was an avid skier, tennis player, and gardener. He was an active member of the St. Josesph's Parish in Schenectady and a member of the Empire State Aerosciences Museum. Donald is survived by his wife Mary C. Fredrick, children Kenneth Fredrick, Mark Fredrick, Linda Sagaille, Amy Fredrick, Daughter in-law Jacqueline Fredrick, grandchildren Jeremey, Natalia, Joshua Sagaille, and Heather Li and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son-in-law Yves Sagaille. The Fredrick family would like to express their sincere gratitude to his neighbors and Hospice for their compassion and support. Calling hours will be held on Sunday May 31 from 5:00 - 6:30 and from 6:30 to 8:00 there will be a celebration of Don's life in which family and friends are invited to participate at Daly Funeral Home. Funeral service Tuesday Morn 8:15 from Daly Funeral Home and 9:00 at St Josephs Church (Layfayette St Schenectady) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Internment at St. Joseph's Cemetery , Schenectady with military honors.
