Ballston Spa - Edith J. Greer, 72, passed away suddenly, Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Saratoga Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Edith was an EEG Technician at Ellis Hospital for many years. She is survived by her husband, Thomas N. Greer; a son, William K. Greer, both of Ballston Spa; two sisters, Maribeth Scholz of Clifton Park and Jennifer Ricard of Niskayuna. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service, Tuesday morning, 8:30 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. and 9 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours, Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. In lieu of flowers, in Edith's memory, please donate to your local Animal Shelter or favorite charity.
