I first came to know Pete when I came on board at GEGR Building 37 in late 1979 as its facilities engineer. I was young then. We worked together until late 1987 when I transferred to GEGR at Niskayuna after which I never saw him again. He retired soon after. Still, while at Bldg 37, Pete was our chief HVAC technician. If I live to be a hundred years old, I will never forget him. He was our chief HVAC technician; he was a unique individual with characteristics I will never forget.
