That's what I always called him..... Mr. Meaney. I knew him for 40 years and never once called him anything but Mr. Meaney. It never occurred to me that anything else would be appropriate, because I had so much respect for him. Growing up with his children, I was at his home hundreds of times, many times for the whole evening. He was always so welcoming to me and made me feel very comfortable, even when I was eating up all his snacks. I remember many a sunday afternoon, watching baseball with him sitting in his lazyboy chair. This is a direct quote - "Hi Keith, come on in. Have a seat, would you like a beer?" That never got old and I'll never forget it. I'll miss you Mr. Meaney! Thank you for being you.
