Dear Michelle and Jamie, I adored your mother without qualification. The world is a much emptier place without her presence, and my pile of clippings will never be the same. She was so thoughtful--always sending items of interest, always enquiring about my family and my classes. She was one of the finest women, finest teachers, finest citizens of the world I have ever known. I am so sorry for your loss--please extend my condolences to your families and your uncle.
