Clifton Park - Joseph Candrilli, 82, passed away Sunday May 8, 2016 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Joseph was born in the Bronx, NY the son of the late Salvatore and Violet (Viola) Candrilli and was raised in Catskill, NY. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1956. Joseph worked for many years and retired from General Electric Research and Development as a Sr. Draftsman. Joseph enjoyed playing the saxophone and was a drum and bugle corps enthusiast. He was predeceased by his wife Esther (Vitarius) Candrilli.
He is survived by his daughters Violet (Robert) Forgett and Robyn (Dale) Vunk, grandchildren: Jamie, Jennifer, Jessica and Gregory, great-grandchildren Makenzie and Jack and sister Joetta (Pete) Reganato.
Calling hours will be Thursday 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A graveside service will be Friday 10:00 am at Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
