I am so very sorry for the loss of Allan. May God grant you the ability to endure during this difficult time. We can take comfort in God's promise to resurrect our loved ones to life on a paradise earth, free from pain, suffering and death. (John 5:28, Revleation 21:3 & 4). In the meantime may the fond memories of Allan comfort you and ease your pain .
