Some of my greatest memories growing up were spent with my cousins in Bloomfield - Lorrie, Adrian, Gillian, Ann, Sharon & Portia....and with Auntie Vivi and Uncle Baj. I am blessed for those times, much of which were the fun and laughter of Auntie Vivi. I love that she always had a joke to tell and boy, oh boy, everyday share the dream that she had had. And she always had a dream....because she was such a joyful and loving soul! And never without a word of encouragement because she was positive and an optimist. Those memories are engrained in my mind and engraved in my heart forever! Thank you for those times Auntie Vivi, they were special and precious. I believe that heaven rejoices because of your home coming. You will live on in my heart,,,,and I am sure the hearts of many more. Enjoy your new life that will never fade!

I can hear Aunty Vivi in heaven now saying to God:
"Who you married to again"? and
"Come nah, hear what I dream last night"
Rest in peace, Aunty Vivi.
Our love and prayers to my cousins and their families.

I have so many fond memories of Teacher Vivi. She was my mentor who shaped me to be the great educator l was. She was such a jovial people's person, who loved to gaff, always had a tract or Daily Bread ti share. Many days we left work together at 2 .30, but on her impulsive visitation days a journey that should take her 10 to 15 mins would take her several hrs. What amazed me was on returning to work the next morning Tr V would call me and promptly asked me " Beverley guess what time l reached home ? Very often my guess would always miss the mark, when she told ne the time she got home l would promptly ask her where did you go. Very happy to report she would give me a chronigical report of the many friends and strangers homes she visited and left the gospel with them. When she retired l was verry saddened that she would get sick after retiring and being ina tive and being alone. She proved my fear wrong and went on to live a full and happy life. One day l visited her and she promptly offered me some sorrel tea. Someone told her how to make sorrrel drink but said she can't wait for it to cool off. We had a good laugh, and l drank my sorrel tea. Whenever l see sorrel l always remember Teacher Vivi. I've always missed her after she finally migrated ,but thank God l was given the opportunity to see her when she returned to Guyana. To her sorrowing children, grandchildren ,great grandchildren other relatives abd friends ,may you grieve with the hope and assurance we have rhat we will see her again on that great ressurection day. SLEEP ON TEACHER V .....I WILL CHERISH YOUR MEMORIES......
