Scott was a person who went beyond what was expected. When he learned that the faculty room at ND-BG needed to be painted - he showed up with tools, brushes, and expertise, staying and working with us for the better part of a day. I remember him jumping in, painting, instructing and most of all, smiling to be spending time with his kids.
