Looking back, Mrs. Walsh was without doubt, a force of nature. In high school, I remember thinking what a busy lady Mrs. Walsh must be with four children, a full time job and a household to keep humming, but she always had time to ask me how I was doing and how things were going for me. At the time, Katie probably didn't appreciate her mom's questions and comments, but I always felt pretty special for the extra attention. Mrs. Walsh was a very special woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
