Obituary of Madeline J. Goodwin

Rexford – Madeline J. Goodwin, 90, passed away peacefully Monday January 10, 2022. Madeline was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Anna (Million) and Joseph Pacelli. She graduated from Nott Terrace High School and worked for Towne Decorators for many years. Madeline was a long time communicant of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, Rosa Rd. (formerly Our Lady of Fatima), a member of the Rexford Fire Department Auxiliary and an avid reader. Madeline will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her favorite time in life was creating festive holiday memories, cooking and decorating Christmas trees. She is survived by her children: Patti (Dave Davin) Breau, Timothy (Barbara) Goodwin, Michael (Dani) Goodwin, Tom (Jami) Goodwin and Bill (Siobhan) Goodwin, siblings: Shirley Tomasek and Robert (Ursula) Pacelli, grandchildren: Evan(Lore), Matthew, Meaghan (John) Durst, Liam, Gabrielle, Kiersten and Kayleigh, great-grandchildren: Kinley, Sofia and Teddy; also several nieces and nephews. Madeline was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Goodwin and grandsons Danny and T. J. The funeral service will be Saturday 12:00 noon at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made in Madeline's name, to Rexford Fire Department or Alzheimer's Association of Northeast New York.
