Obituary of Robert Konczeski

Melbourne, FL Robert Andrew Konczeski, age 74 passed away in Melbourne, FL February 25, 2023. He was born on October 23, 1948 to John and Elizabeth (Clark) Konczeski in Schenectady, NY. Robert was the proud owner of Star Liquor of Schenectady, NY for over 35 years. He maintained ties to Schenectady for his entire life. His love for Brant Lake, NY, where he spent his summers for the last 40 years, was immeasurable . He loved hosting friends and family, fishing, boat rides, and, in more recent years, golfing. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Nancy (Willcox) Konczeski; children Jane Konczeski, John Konczeski, and Sandy (Justin) Vilardi; grandchildren Isabella and Daniel Vilardi; and siblings Bunny (Jim) Blackstone and Ed (Josette) Konczeski. He is preceded in death by his parents and children, Daniel Konczeski and Susan Konczeski. Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory, generous spirit, and entertaining stories will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Calling hours will be held Monday, March 27th from 4pm-8pm at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and the memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 28th, 10am at the funeral home.
