I will miss Peg. She was a powerful women and the matriarch of the Howell family. We did not always see eye to eye during what was a very difficult time but because of our love for Mark we always kissed and made up. Peg you will be missed and I will always respect and love you. I only hope to be half the women you were. To the Howell family I’m very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prays and mostly my heart and soul forever. I wish I could have made the trip back to New York to be with you during this very hard time. Love always, Kitty

John and Michael, It was with great sadness when we read of the passing of your beloved mother. We lived two doors down from you on Willow Lane when you three boys were growing up and almost the same ages as ours. We remember many nights sitting on the porch with your Mom and Dad conversing and laughing. She was a wonderful person and always had a friendly smile and caring way when we ran into each other as we grew older. May the fond memories you all shared sustain you in your sorrow. With sympathy, Carolyn and Clyde DeWeese

Dear Howie, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. No matter when we lose them, its hard to accept; especially when you lose the second parent, you kind of have that orphan feeling--even though you're an adult. It's bittersweet because now she's out of pain, but still a shame she'll no longer be there for you. Just remember all the good times before she got cancer and be thankful you had her for this long. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. You have my heartfelt sympathy. Give my love to Pam & Mark, as well. Kathy
