Lois and family, you have my deep sympathies in the loss of Manning, a man of great faith and deep committment to the Lord. Having lived in Stoneham, MA next to Malden and traveled in Nova Scotia, I always felt a connection to Manning. His service to CABA and those times he took services at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehab. Ctr. will be gratefully remembered and appreciated. Peace to his memory.

Our thoughts are with Lois, Patricia, Ewart and Paul and families. Manning and my father, Jim Doig, were cousins and great friends for nearly 88 years. After we received Ewart’s call this Sunday, my dad told me that Manning was the most thoughtful person he ever knew. We will miss him very much.

I worked with Manning during the late 1970s and found him to be a generous man with his sharing of knowledge and time. He introduced me to the GE planning methodology at the time and helped to prepare me for my next 20 years with GE. We would meet occasionally and he always had a warm greeting. My condolences to his family. God bless you all.

I am a friend of Edie's and have heard her speak of her 'Uncle Manning' many times and how much he meant to her including that he encouraged her to become a photographer. Know that my prayers and thoughts are with your whole family. May the pain of loss be eased by celebration of his life.
