Even in her picture here, to see Joan's face makes me smile. She had a beautiful face. When my family first moved to Schenectady in 1964, Joan & Dave Krause were the first people to welcome us as new neighbors. As a child, I spent many hours in Joan's company. How she could make a person laugh! She was very dear to me. She loved her music, was very devoted to her religion - and she was ALWAYS very young at heart. I completely enjoyed being around her. I can only imagine how much she missed Dave after his passing. Two absolutely wonderful people. But they're together now again. God Bless all of you, Julie, David, Jennifer, Stephen, Danny and Christopher and your families. My mother, Susan and I will ALWAYS have fond memories your Mom and Dad.
