Dear Lambert Family, I had the privilege of working with Paul for quite a few years at the Golub Corporation. He was one of the nicest people! I was so impressed that he continued to try to work while under going his treatments. He was such a strong man! I'll never forget that when ever he could, he would come down to my office to see me and to keep me updated on how he felt. How lucky your family was to have such an inspiration for a husband, father and grandfather!

You can shed tears that he is gone, Or you can smile because he lived, You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back,Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, Or you can be full of the love that you shared, You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he is gone, Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on, You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Senior's long time sharing of his strength and character with so many around him galvanized such strong friendships that his actions, smiles and kindness will live forever in the memories of those around him. It was a honor to have encountered him at Rendezvous and other events. Peace and blessings to his family.

My deepest sympathy during this trying time. Mr. Lambert and CHIEF Lambert, helped shape me into the fireman/emt I became, and all of the lives I helped save were ultimately, directly influenced by his advice and instruction. I consider Paul Sr. to be "Mariaville's Dad" because I know he had a great and positive influence over all of his kids friends and held the greater community close to heart. With a heavy heart, and much love for the Lambert Family and Lambert Community, God Bless You All. ~Bruce
