Dear Liz and Pete and Family, I was very sad to hear about your mom. I only learned about the arrangements tonight after the fact, I was so sorry I missed the wake and or funeral. I liked your mom so very much and have missed her so since she was ill and no longer attending church and the functions. I pray you all have happy memories that get you through this difficult time. May she rest in peace! With love, Judi and family

I have lived in many places including several countries and at each have had neighbors of all sorts. I rank you Emanueles right up there with the best of them. If something had happened to our mom and yours had to take us in, I would have been fine with that. Marlyn was the kind of person this world now needs. My nightly prayers will be with her. John John

Marlyn was our next door neighbor in Scotia NY throughout my entire childhood, and she & her children still feel like extended family members. I hope her kind heart is now at peace in heaven, with her mother. I hope all of her kids know that she will be watching over them, and how important they really were to her. Rest in peace Marlyn.

Marilyn was one of the nicest Mom's on Ruby Blvd. She always had a smile and was nice to all of the kids in the neighborhood. I remember her serving Nick, Michael and myself hot chocolate after we had played outside in the snow all day throwing snowballs and building forts. She was a great mom.

My memory of Marlyn rests in a warm place in my heart. She was the intelligent, friendly, supportive friend to our Mom while all us Galkiekids were growing up. She had a wry, dry sense of humor and was very kind to all of us - I still have the pen she gave me for high school graduation! Marlyn will be missed...
