Kathy, We are so sorry for your family's loss. We remember your Dad as such a terrific guy - we both worked with him at GE and have great memories. Now, living in Massachusetts, we hear his Boston accent and think of him with fond memories of his storytelling and ability to light up a room. We couldn't help but smile whenever we heard his name! And now, we are so saddened by this news. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Lisa & Rick

My sincerest condolences to the Murphy family. I met Frank many years ago when he decided to attend my Diabetes Education program at St. Clare's Hospital. He was one of my star students, always wanting to know more to improve his health. We became friends, and he constantly talked about his family, whom he loved more than words can explain.I will miss him.

I worked for Mr. Murphy when he was Manager of Personnel Accounting in Building 40 at GE in the 1980's. I was backup for his secretary, Bernadette, and have fond memories of my time with that group. We would always go out to lunch for Secretaries Day. I was called "Little Laurie" since we already had another Lori in the office - Lori DeCarlo. I remember talking to Kathy when she was very young - how long ago that was. I was saddened to hear he had passed and all the children and Elaine have been and will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi, Progeny of Adge & Ginny... Your Dad was, to me, the big brother that I never had (Only Child). He was always there to encourage, boost, PUSH, & get more out of me than I ever thought I had. We had many challenging, but rewarding, work experiences over the years. We worked hard & we played sort of hard. (But you didn't know that, did ya??) I've got to ssy, ther were many GE success stories that were mentored by FEM!! He has always been there for so many when needed, thru some very trying times...both within the family, and for others, also. Dolly & I have had many great times with all of you (Grad parties, Weddings, etc.) & it was great seeing you all grow up to be the Pillars of Society, Business and Education that you are. Adge was Super Proud, and you can !!be sure that your Mom is too!! These are the wonderful times that we'll remember. But to us, most of all Frank was a Great friend!! We have shared some difficult "lifetime" experiences with Frank that really "bonded" us, & he was always there for us. When Dolly & I moved to FL 15 years ago, he told us..."Whenever you come up here to visit, THIS is Your HOME...and BY God, he MEANT it!!! We really enjoyed the family homestead!! We'll really miss you, Frank. Have a Great Ride on the SKI-Lift to the "Heavens"!! Till we meet again... Love, Cholly & Dolly

Dear Murphy clan, please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dear Adge. We have so many shared memories of hanging out at your house, talking and laughing, emptying the fridge, and spending many hours getting instructe, lectured , laughed at, coached , and fed ( body and soul) by the One and Only Adge. He welcomed all of us into the Murphy family and treated each of like his own. He loved us and we all, most certainly, loved him. Our prayers are with you all. Much love, Liz and Mark

My condolences to the Murphy family. I sincerely liked Frank/Adge for the time that I knew him. All the the best to Bob, Chris, Linda and those family members who I didn't get to meet. Frank was someone who I looked up to as a leader when I saw him bring folks he's worked with in his GE Leadership Development years...his 'glass half full' optimism infected others.

It's hard to believe that 42 years have passed since I first met Frank. Ken and I want to express our sincere condolences to each member of the family. As our friendships grew over the years, we have wonderful memories of our times together with he & Lainie; our travels to Montreal, NYC bus trips, St. Marten, Isle La Motte and also our visits to their house at Christmastime to see their fabulous train and minature displays. Any time Ken & I reminisce about those time, we always end up laughing..so many great times! Our only regrets are that he would never come to visit us in Arizona. He made it very clear that the desert was not one of his favorite places. He had a lot of tough times in his life but he never let them hinder living life to the fullest! As Ken said the other night; Frank was a guy who could take Lemons and turn it into Screwdrivers(or maybe Burnt Hills Specials). And Finally, Dear Frank, In the most recent years, we have missed you but we will never forget you; you were one in a million! We Love You and May You Rest in Peace; although we tend to think that even in the hereafter, that may be difficult for you. Sincerely, Judy & Ken Wensley

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of Adge. Adge was a great family man. Growing up he welcomed me into his home for many good times. Adge and Lanie took me to dinner, movies, swimming, skiing and on vacation with the family. Adge helped me land my first big job with Xerox, made a great impression on me, and I’m absolutely a better person for knowing him. Vic Benson Jr.
