I was very saddened to learn of Mr. Conway's passing. One always thinks there will be time enough to re-connect with people one has known and thank them for the influence, kindness and understanding they have shown. Sadly, time slips by and we miss the opportunities. I thank his family in his absence and want them to know this that this man touched so many and did so with selflessness and without reservation. Thank you for sharing him with us.

It was my privilege to know this rare, sweet, wonderful man. When he called from the hospital and all the grandchildren lined up to talk to "granddaddy", you know something special is going on.

I was very saddened to hear that Fran has passed away. I know it is a terrible loss for your family. Fran loved you all so much and shared your family travel stories at school with great joy. I still have the lovely scarf he brought to me from France years ago. He influenced many lives, and leaves that legacy. He will be so very missed.

To my dearest Barb and the loving family of Fran. Fran was and will continue to be the most genuine soul that I have had the pleasure to meet. He was of the most generous spirit. He gave unto others the joy of companionship, a terrific listening ear, and the appreciation of time spent in the simple joys of life. Nothing meant more to him when we met than to share stories and pictures of family. We met in the most slight and chance ways, seats next to each other in a community theatre. However, he turned that chance meeting turned into a journey of meaningful life experiences to survive for many years and to remain in my memory. The Grand Canyon may have been the largest void on the Earth, but now that has been replaced by the void created by the passing of the most gracious, sincere, and joyful soul known to me as Fran. With the deepest regrets, Bob
