Papa Rick loved my kids. He and my son, Michael, loved to watch the Freddie Krueger movies together. They had a good time scaring Gramma Sylvie. My daughter, Hope a.k.a. Peach Head, was spoiled and would get whatever she wanted. I particularly remember one Easter when Hope was wearing a pretty white dress and told Papa Rick she wanted blueberry pie. Did he give her a piece. No. He gave her the whole pie with a big spoon. So much for the white dress but there was a very happy girl with blue face. Let's not forget the pizza eating contests at Pizza Hut! My kids loved visiting with Papa Rick.
