I have so many memories of my Auntie Carol but the most recent one was of course with much laughter. I decided to take her & my mom ( her sister ) out for the day, breakfast and shopping. They both are carrying oxygen tanks so I dropped them off in front of Walmart while I parked. I got into the store only to find my mom but no Aunt Carol !! I must have searched for 20 minutes, had her paged which did no good since she was hard of hearing. In a total panic, about to have them call a "code Carol", there she is on a motorized scooter in the checkout lane yelling, "Deb", I'm here !! OMG, I was so paniced that she thought I was mad. I told her she was grounded where when we got home she stayed in my mom's room thinking she was really in trouble. We later had dinner, which she was always happy about since she loved my cooking and always wanted to know what we were having :) We played cards to end the night which was her favorite thing to do when she came. I will so miss her and our closeness. I am so grateful we had a special Thanksgiving.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy to you, all. Praying you'll feel the Lord's comforting presence, today, and in the day's to come. I have memories of conversations, and laughs, shared with Carol, in years past, at North Hills. She had a knack for "telling it like it is", which is what I admired about her. She may be gone, but will not be forgotten.
