Obituary of Carol Corless

Rotterdam - Carol Ann Corless, 73, of E. Palmer Ave., died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Ellis Hospital. She was born and educated in Peekskill. Carol and her husband, Mike, raised their girls in Port Washington (Long Island), retiring to the Schenectady area in 1992. Family was the most important aspect of her life. Her favorite pastimes included reading, bingo and word puzzles. Carol was predeceased by her husband, Michael Corless, he died in 2006. She is survived by two daughters, Kim Lawkins and Michele (Glen) Good; a sister, Lorraine Partenheimer; five grandchildren, Christopher, Michele and Samuel Lawkins and Rebecca and Daniel Good; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service, Friday afternoon, 1 p.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours, Friday morning, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
