As a former high school classmate, I remember John as a big, easy-going, friendly guy. He got along with everyone and always said hello when passing in the halls of NHS. Although I was not real close to John, I do have these positive memories of him after all these years and have much sadness upon hearing of his passing. I hope the John is at peace and that his family and friends find much comfort in the happy memories they have of John.

To the Family and Friends of John Huggins, My deepest condolences to you on the loss of John. I knew him during my time living in Niskayuna, having attended the High School with him. Most memorable was playing football with him in the ninth grade where he as an awesome presence and considerate friend: in other words, he didn't punish me too hard during practice. How sad. I sense he lived a good life; that is what I expected of him. Again, my condolences on the loss of this good guy. Richard Theokas

I am so sorry to hear of John's death. I was in his class at NHS and remember his good nature and fun personality. He was one of the folks I was disappointed not to see at our 50th reunion. Fondly, David Wollam
